What is L.A.M.P.?

LAMP (Lincoln-Way Area MobilePack) is a MobilePack for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).  FMSC has worked with scientists to design the perfect, dried food to nourish starving bodies.  They can produce these meals for 24 cents a meal & each one cup meal of this super nutritious food provides all of the nutrition a child needs for an entire day.  These meals are shipped to about 70 different countries around the world to organizations already on the ground in places of desperate need who distribute the food in schools, orphanages, clinics, etc.  All of these meals are hand packed by volunteers & that is where LAMP comes in.  FMSC brings the equipment, ingredients & staff to the LAMP event & LAMP provides donations to cover the cost of the ingredients, a location to pack the food & all the volunteers needed to pack the food.  The LAMP event is a community event whose LAMP Partners & Sponsors include churches, businesses, school groups & civic organizations who help by raising funds & bringing volunteers to pack the food
